Check my CD player any time I am driving off to do something that requires extra courage and you will probably find Pat Wictor’s album, “Waiting for the Water”. Pat and his lap guitar move effortlessly between classic blues and gospel-tinged “I-can’t-believe-it’s-not-traditional” originals. This summer I had the great pleasure of singing back-up for him, and I’m looking forward to doing it again at the New Deal.
